Men’s Club recyclable bottle & can fundraising
The Newman Center Men’s Club has partnered with Bottle & Can Retrieval Centers to help us out with our fundraising.
You can drop off your recyclable bottles & cans at any of the Retrieval Centers listed below. Please mark your donation for the Newman Center Men’s Club so our account can be credited.
In addition, we have placed a drop-off barrel in the rear parking lot at the Newman Center. It is located adjacent to the paper recycling bins by the shed in the back of the lot.

Fun at the Fall Harvest Road Rally
The Newman Center Men’s Club enjoyed their annual Fall Harvest Road Rally on October 13, 2022. They began at the Fieldstone Country Inn in Lockport and then made stops at some fun destinations, including: Village of Medina antique and gift shops, Rush’s Farm Market, Miller’s Amish Market and Harris Farm Market. They then traveled back to The Fieldstone Country Inn for dinner and discussions of the day’s events.
We are a gathering of Christian Men, dedicated to the service of the UB Newman Center Community. It is a casual ministry of men using their time, talents, and skills to support the needs of the Newman Center and have a little fun along the way.
We wish to promote fellowship and camaraderie through common interests and by sponsoring social and volunteer activities for the Newman Center Community and Men’s Club membership.

How We Started
The Men’s Club started in 2008 when a bunch of men from the Newman Center were having coffee at Panera’s and somebody said we should start a club. Everybody said “good idea” and we elected Bob Denman as our first President (he was not in attendance) and we called it the Men’s Club. We had no rules, but we started doing things together and it grew from there.
Today we have 87 members. We work together on activities at the Newman Center and enjoy a strong sense of community — and also have a good time along the way!
