Q. What is an “alternative” spring break?
A. An Alternative Spring Break is a chance for students to engage in community service. The trip is another alternative for students to spend their spring break vacation.

Q. Why Detroit?
A. Poverty has exploded in the metro Detroit area over the past 15 years. More than 40% of people are in poverty. Some of the things that we will be helping out with is feeding the poor, working in school and so much more.

Q. How will we get there? Where will we stay?
A. We will be taking a van to the event and staying in a renovated house in Detroit.

Trips dates: Sunday, March 13 to Friday, March 18, 2016.

The cost will be $150. A non-refundable $55 deposit is due no later than January 4th. Any questions contact Steven at steveng@newmancenteratub.org.
